What we provide

Housing a veteran can hold on to

We provide the accommodations ourselves. Clean, maintained, furnished homes in and around Memphis, at a rent a veteran can sustain — with someone in their corner while they get steady.

Serving those who served

The six things that matter most

Every veteran’s situation is different, but these are the constants in what we offer.

Affordable Housing Options

Quality homes offered at a rent a veteran can actually sustain.

Every home we provide is clean, maintained and ready to live in from the first night. The rent is set with a veteran’s budget in mind rather than a market rate, so it is a home they can stay in.

Furnished Homes

Move-in ready and furnished, so a veteran can settle in from day one.

Our homes come furnished — the bed, the table, the everyday things that make a house livable. A veteran arriving with little more than a duffel bag still walks into somewhere they can put their life down.

Veteran-Focused Support

Someone in their corner, and the resources and referrals that help.

Housing is the foundation, not the finish line. We stay alongside a veteran while they get steady again, and connect them with the resources and referrals that make the next step possible.

Pathways to Independence

A stable address, and the room to build a life on it.

When the address stops changing, everything else becomes possible again — routine, work, appointments, sleep, and the confidence that comes with your own front door.

A Stable Living Environment

A settled place to live, so the next step actually becomes possible.

Instability is exhausting. We are committed to creating a stable living environment that empowers a veteran to rebuild, thrive and achieve their goals — and that steadiness is the whole point of what we do.

Housing Across Memphis and the Surrounding Area

Serving Memphis, Tennessee and the communities around it.

We place veterans in and around Memphis — in neighborhoods that are quiet, accessible, and close to the services, work and support a veteran depends on.

How it works

Four steps from the first phone call to a set of keys. Most of it is one conversation.

01

You reach out

A phone call, a text, or a short message through this site. Tell us as much or as little as you like to begin with. If you are calling on someone else’s behalf, that is completely fine.

02

We book a time to talk

Tammie sets an appointment that suits you and sits down with you — by phone or in person — to hear about the veteran who needs housing and what their situation actually requires.

03

We work out the home

Together you talk through the housing itself: what would fit, what the veteran needs, and what they can reasonably sustain month to month.

04

Housing is arranged

We provide the accommodation and see it through. A veteran gets their own address, and from there the steady work of getting back on their feet begins.

Who this is for

Veterans in Memphis

Men and women who have served, living in Memphis, Tennessee or the surrounding communities, who need an affordable home of their own.

Veterans rebuilding after a hard stretch

Veterans who need a settled place to live while they put the pieces back together — the routine, the work, the confidence.

The people helping them

Caseworkers, relatives and friends who are trying to find housing for a veteran and need someone to actually pick up the phone.

Not sure whether we can help? Ask us — that is what the call is for.

There is no charge for a conversation, and no obligation at the end of it. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you honestly.
